Our first Bespoke retreat preparations are underway….

We are excited about our FIRST EVER BESPOKE (i.e. DESIGN YOUR OWN) YOGA retreat, a booking from some serious public servants in need of refreshment…..working, as they do, to help others can become exhausting and it is our pleasure to give to them.

Their schedule:  Saturday all day & Sunday afternoon.  The retreat will be fully catered.  Morning and afternoon teas will be created by Waratah, she loves delectable healthy sweets and studies holistic health cuisine. Lunch chef is Harley who will create with produce from his garden, vegetarian, organic & delicious.

Suzanne will teach all weekend as Gretchen is away attending a teacher training meeting with our colleagues at BKSIYA in Bondi Junction.

The plan:

Arrive 9.15am for a light & delicious morning tea, easy to digest and energising, Waratah will ensure that with banana rice parcels and our home brew chai tea.

DSC_7450Morning Dynamic class 9.30-12noon, Suzanne will guide the practitioners in this invigorating morning practice focusing on the needs expressed in enrolment forms.

… enough time to celebrate beautiful food, relax and enjoy the environment,  talk to each other, take a walk around the farm, gaze at the beautiful dam.

Saturday afternoon session from 2 – 4.30 includes restorative asana for good digestion moving into Pranyama to build up energy through yogic breathing techniques.

Sunday afternoon will begin at 12.30, with the focus of the practice toward each participant taking home their own personalised yoga sequence. After practice and a divine afternoon tea at the dam, Waratah is talking Baklava Friand’s and Lemongrass Tea (yum) I will take photos of each person in the asana, sequence the poses and send by email.
